My Journey - February 2012 Empty My Journey - February 2012

Post  ChasingSanity Thu Feb 23, 2012 8:57 am

emailed update;

Pamela and I are less than a month from sailing across the Atlantic to the UK.

"Who is Pamela?" you might ask. I was tinkering with my bicycle on the
side of the road, she pulled her car over and asked "How are you going
to Bicycle To Australia?" We talked (a lot), walked some, talked some
more and met a few days later to talk some more.

"Who is this emailing me?" you might ask. I am Ari Gold,
BikeToAustralia.com. Sometime during the last two years, you gave me
your email.

Back to the story, Pamela has family in London. Her mother sailed here
on the Queen Elizabeth as a young woman, married and lived a good life
before dying. Pamela and I are taking a sister ship, the Queen
Victoria, to visit her family and complete the circle.

I am encouraging Pamela to move to Europe. She might. I might stay
with her for years or longer. I plan, at some point, to continue on my
journey - Bike to Australia - Pamela might be with me. Reality rarely
blossoms as expected but there's always beauty in the flower and the
flowering.

I plan to write more when there's more worth writing.

:hugs:
Ari

How much time we have left is not as important as how much can we squeeze out of what we do have. We want to know how much time we have in order to know how hard we have to squeeze to get as much as we want. Life does not work that way; give and get as much as you can with each moment. Your Life Depends on You.
